OUR INNOVATION
  • Most efficient internal effluent collection system for systematic quality and quantity control over the effluent discharged by member units. 94-SCADA PLC based Sump Rooms for quantifying effluent discharged by each member unit.
  • Auto samplers are installed at all 94 Sump Rooms for automatic composite and continuous sample collection and then for analysis of the effluent discharged by each member unit.
  • To keep watch on plant performance, Auto Samplers are installed at all stages of treatment units, hence No manual sampling anywhere.
  • Installation of 30 MLD Advanced Oxidation Technology i.e. FCR Plant to achieve GPCB Discharge Norms by removing Non-biodegradable matters from the effluent.
  • Developed software to maintain records for tracking performance of daily Operation and Maintenance of the Plant.
UNIQUNESS
  • Only estate in the country, which has all the Common Environmental Pollution Control Facilities i.e., CETP aided with advanced oxidation treatment technology, TSDF, Comon MEE & Spray Dryer and Common Spent Acid Management Facility at one place working under co-operative body.
  • Such huge amount (i.e., 624 KLD) of high TDS effluent is being treated and safely disposed through MEE/Spray Dryer. Such huge amount (i.e., 1000 KLD) of spent acid is neutralized at Novel Spent Acid Management Facility.
  • State of art NABL Accredited Laboratory.
  • Mobile Application has been launched for MEE & Spray dryer and NOVEL for member units to book the tankers, raise bill payment, raise quarries and view the results, hence nothing is manual basis.
  • Under Continuous Effluent Monitoring System (CEMS), Online Flow, pH, TOC, COD, BOD, NH3 and TSS of the CETP discharge are being transferred to CPCB and GPCB on real time basis.
  • Established a Help Desk for our member units, seeking any help related application under Rule-9 of H&OW Rule-2016.
OUR ESTABLISHMENTS
  • To achieve our objectives and to resolve the problem of Industrial wastewater pollution of 680 units of GIDC-Vatva, GESCSL has set up the Environmental Infrastructure Facilities and Management Systems i.e.,
  • Common Effluent Treatment Plant aided with Advanced Oxidation technology - FCR (35 MLD) - for low TDS and Non-Biodegradable COD effluent
  • Multiple Effect Evaporator with 8 effects (300 KLD) - for high TDS effluent
  • Spray Dryers (3 Nos.-total 624 KLD capacity) - for very high TDS effluent
  • Secured Landfill Facility (Exhausted) - for safe disposal of Hazardous Solid waste
  • Novel Spent Acid Management Facility (Separate entity) for treatment and safe disposal of spent acid from the member units located in Odhav, Vatva and Naroda GIDC.
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
  • We are operating polyclinic at Vatva in association with Vatva Industries Association (VIA).
  • Often, we are organizing blood donation camps jointly with VIA.
  • We are also organizing medical camps for the patient of dieses related to eyes, diabetes etc.
  • We have also carried out cleaning and replenishment of Vinzol pond near our CETP
  • We are also helping the affected people by distributing food packets, grain kits and water pouches during natural calamities.
  • We are distributing uniforms, note books to the students of nearby schools.
OUR CONTRIBUTION :
  • From the beginning, we are very actively working to control the environmental pollution and for protection of environmental quality.
  • We are constantly devoting our all the possible efforts and resources to maintain the clean environment.
  • We have adopted advanced technologies to achieve highest standards of performance in our EMS.
  • We are also active in creating environmental awareness in industry, public and workers.
  • We are always endeavoring to continually improve our capability in waste minimization, energy efficiency, cleaner production, treatment and disposal of waste.

The treated effluent in conventional treatment go for further treatment in one of the world's most advanced oxidation technology called Fenton Catalytic Reactor (FCR) to reduce non- biodegradable matters from the effluent in order to achieve the GPCB discharge norms. This is the first installation in India. The FCR plant is in operation since December - 2021.

The FCR Plant - a dream project of Late Shri Shankerbhai Patel (Kaka), was inaugurated on 25th June 2021 by worthy hands of Shri Prakash Javadekarji, Hon'ble Minister of Forests, Environment and Climate Change, Government of India in the presence of Hon'ble Chief Minister of Gujarat Hon'ble Vijaybhai Rupani.

Establishment and operation of CETP is for the collection, treatment and safe disposal of treated effluent in to mega line after confirming effluent discharge norms of GPCB.
