In the Vatva GIDC Industrial Estate and its surrounding areas, TB patients have been identified by the Health Department of the East Zone of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. These TB patients are receiving treatment at health centers managed by the Corporation. To ensure that these patients receive a nutritious diet, Vatva Industries Association has been distributing protein-rich food kits containing 4 kilos of pulses per patient for the past 2 years.
